Thank you for your enquiry about membership of Iceni Velo. You are welcome to take part in a few club rides before deciding to join us or register for a free 2 week trial membership on our website (www.icenivelo.co.uk). Sunday Club Runs are divided into levels of ability, when possible. Other club rides are available.

Members of Iceni Velo are able to purchase a range of cycling and casual clothing, including short sleeve jerseys and bib-shorts in club colours. Although members can wear any jersey/shorts on club rides, everyone is encouraged to wear club colours on the Sunday Club Runs, where weather conditions permit. Some racing rules insist on club colours being worn when competing.

If you join between 1st October and 31st December, your membership is valid until 31st December of the following year. Otherwise, all memberships expire on 31st December. Fees are reviewed annually at the AGM.

Members will receive a membership card, which will include ICE details and should be carried at all times. We also encourage all members to consider ICE dog tags, which are available for £5, these can include your contact details as well as your ICE (In Case of Emergency) contact details. The membership card also qualifies full members to discounted servicing & MOT’s (all makes) as well as vehicle sales at Duff Morgan Citroen. The card also qualifies you for discount at Streetlife Cycles, except sale items and special promotions from Fuerte Bici.

We recommend for club members to have their own insurance from either British Cycling or Cycling Touring Club, though this is only optional. All members MUST wear helmets at all times when riding; this is a strict club policy.

All members are expected to behave in a responsible manner whilst engaged in club activities.

Any rider under the age of 18 is required to fill in a parental consent form. Please download our membership form which has the parental consent form on the reverse. The form can be downloaded here.
