We are delighted to announce details of our next events, starting from our Hellesdon HQ on Sunday 12th July 2026, we have a 100km and 200km option for you.
A day at the races is our 200km option, a scenic round trip through Breckland, Cambridgeshire and Suffolk, stopping at Newmarket around half way before returning to Norfolk.
Fakenham ain’t a bad place to be is our 100k option, skirting round the South of Dereham before heading North to the titular town and an South-Easterly amble back to Norwich.
Entry is £12 (plus £3 insurance if not an Audax UK member) and covers the route sheet, GPX file, parking (if required) and refreshments at the start and end of the event.
Half of the profit from the event will be donated to our current charity of the year, East Anglia’s Children's Hospices (EACH).

You can also keep up to date with our events on our Facebook page or our Instagram page.
An audax is a non-competitive personal challenge, where you are given directions to follow (both as a route sheet and as a route for your bike computer). There’s no "broom wagon" so make sure that you have the basics to keep you going - and just enjoy the scenery!
We had over 60 riders tackle our Back in Blick(ling) and Hells Wells events. Entrants were greeted with surprisingly warm spring weather and a challenging, but enjoyable ride and were welcomed back with as much toast as they could manage!
We also raised another £200 for our current charity of the year, East Anglia’s Children’s Hospice (EACH).
You can even see a video made by one of our riders here:

Thank you to the nearly 50 riders who took part in the Niceni and Biceni this year, with your support we raised £170 for the East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH).
All details regarding the ride are shared on the relevant page in the Audax UK calendar and the week before, you will receive the gpx route, ridewithgps link and detailed notes about the event.
As with previous years, we are also supporting the eBrevet app, so you can check-in with the app instead of having to collect receipts and figuring out our questions on the Brevet card.
Please note Audax UK still require riders to fill out their arrival times on their brevet cards to be checked against their Ebrevet submission on completion of the ride.
Please contact James, the organiser, if you are unable to make the start (or if you are running late) or if you are unable to finish the event.
We’ll do our best to assist you whilst you’re at the HQ, but don’t offer assistance when you’re out on the road. You should expect to be self-reliant, but you can always try to flag down another cyclist if you’re struggling. Audaxers are generally a friendly and helpful crowd! Entrants riders packs will advise the kind of things you may want to take on a longer distance ride.
The event is run under Audax UK regulations. You should familiarise yourself with Audax UK regulations, guidance, and advice (available in AUK publications, at https://www.audax.uk/ or on request from the organiser).
