Iceni Velo Cycling Events

Iceni Velo hosts a number of events that are open to members of the public, and these are listed below.  If you want to find out about member-only events, please refer to our Club Rides page or our Spond group.

Past Events

June 2023 - Iceni Biceni Audax

We hosted our inaugural Audax event on a sunny Saturday in Stoke Holy Cross (just south of Norwich) and welcomed almost 100 riders to a self-guided tour of Norfolk.  There was a choice of two routes: 100km for south and mid Norfolk, and 200km that included sea views from Blakeney on the north Norfolk coast.

January 2023 - Snetterton Cross

The club hosted a successful day of racing, but the weather didn’t entirely play ball.  For the morning races it was chilly but dry & sunny, but around midday we were hit by a hailstorm and strong winds that made conditions very difficult for the vet 40’s and women’s races.  The skies had cleared in time for the last race of the day (the open race), but by then the course was extremely muddy and “interesting” to ride.  That’s cyclo-cross!
